Leslie Poston, co-author of Twitter for Dummies, is a speaker and leading authority in social networking, new media, brand and business development with a concentration in food, wine, spirits, off-beat brands, music and film. She is the Founder and CEO of Uptown Uncorked social media and business development consultancy and the Founder of Social Mic. She is also the Co-Founder of Film Pop!, a digital and new media services development agency for independent film. I conduct social media training sessions of all sizes to help you bring your company into World 2.0 using social media and technology. Founder: Uptown Uncorked, Social Mic, Social Media Breakfast NH, PodCamp NH, and more.

I present social media panels and presentations at a variety of conventions, as well as un-conventions like PodCamp3 Boston 2008.

I have ghostwritten ebooks and articles on ADHD, ADD, Death and Grieving, Psychology, Philosophy, MySpace, AdWords, AdSense, Affiliate Marketing, SEO Optimization, Blogging, Weddings, Pets, Business Tactics, Music, Reality Television Shows, 9/11, eBay, Headache Treatments, careers in the arts and much more. Current projects include ghostwriting the book about Twitter.

I have also been tapped for several “blogs for hire” over the years on a wide variety of subjects, including Lost in Technology, Profy and Blorge.

I completed fifteen “how-to” e-books for Style Career Publications, with more planned.

I completed a major editing project for a private party, encompassing a chapbook of their family history and compilations of several wills and other family heirloom documents.

For Brooks, I was responsible for all marketing material, research, graphic design, direct marketing, ad copy, and corporate identity publishing from design to distribution.

For Vortech Superchargers, I was responsible for retail catalog design, parts and product photography, editing and publication under multiple ongoing deadlines.

I have been responsible for catalog and material copy writing and design from conception to completion for such companies as WAHMOutsource, Writing Concepts, SafeWay Training and Transportation, NAHB, MCC / Peelers, AGC California Tri Counties, Takanaka USA, Barber and Barber, Inc., Cottage?Hospital System, Structnet Inc. and BrainPower, Inc., plus many more.

My career in publishing began with 2 years as a contributing reporter to the weekly financial newsletter Corporate Growth Report, followed by a promotion to Managing Editor of the same newsletter and its companion yearly sourcebook for an additional 2 years. During that time I oversaw two other reporters in addition to newsletter and sourcebook production, research and assisting with editing the company’s fledgling comedy magazine.
