Uptown Uncorked runs smoothly thanks to a variety of applications working together. We couldn’t run a business based online or offline without a great set of tools.  Here is our toolbox (and yes, clicking on some of these links will send us a minimal finder’s fee, in the interest of full disclosure).

FreshBooks helps us track our time and expenses and invoice our clients remotely. Thanks to its open API, it also lets us pull in data on the go from SkyDeck, our Mac OS X desktops via Dashboard Widgets and Xpenser.

Kall8 is where our 800 # comes from. It offers control of how we get our calls down to the most minute detail, including blocking, voice mail, fax routing and mailboxes. It also works flawlessly with our personal YouMail accounts on our personal cell numbers when we need to forward our calls.

BlueHost provides our web hosting, and we couldn’t be happier with this US based company (or its US based tech support). Cost effective solutions that are WordPress friendly.

DimDim handles the live casting of our Social Media Breakfasts and other events, as well as our web meetings.

QuickBooks Pro for Mac is our offline money management software of choice when it comes time to file taxes, handle payroll and go beyond the online solutions we use. It accepts exported files and info from our online money management services.
